  CTO's Springfield & Northside Chapters have teamed up to offer an all-girls afternoon at the Springfield Rod and Gun Club from 2-5 on Sunday, September 24th. Don't miss this opportunity to sharpen your skills or to just get started shooting guns. At a minimum we will have trap rounds as well as target shooting with scoped .22s at the rifle range. Depending on our turn out we may also do some other target shooting. The afternoon will start with a devotional and a lesson on gun safety. Once we are done we will divide into groups and start rotations through the range. All shooters will be required to wear hearing & eye protection. You can bring your own if you have it, but we will also have it available for those who need it. We will continue through rotations until 5:00 pm. Light snacks will be provided during the event. This event is for all levels of experience and interest. You do not need to be a CTO member. Parents/guardians are welcome, but we ask that you limit it to one guest per attendee. Gate will open at 1:30 pm. Follow the drive to meet at the clubhouse.

  Archery deer (and turkey) hunt. Meet at the clubhouse (7138 Lawrence 1196 Ash Grove) at 4:00 pm Friday. Be ready to go hunting as soon as you get here. (Text 417-848-9622 for directions). Pick up same location Sunday morning at 11:00 am, but that could change depending on morning kills.
  
  We will be staying in the clubhouse, but you will still need sleeping bags. Bring camo for the hunt, swimsuit to swim in the creek if weather allows, clothes to get dirty in, 2 towels, camp chair and toiletries (especially soap and toothbrush).
  
  Bows and Crossbows allowed. Crossbows will be provided for those inexperienced or without equipment.
  
  MO archery tags are required.

  CTO's Springfield & Northside Chapters have teamed up to offer rifle practice for fall hunts. If you are registered to attend a fall rifle hunt with any Missouri CTO group, you are invited to practice your rifle skills on Sunday, October 1st from 4-6 pm at the Springfield Rod & Gun Club. Open site and scoped .22 rifles will be available to practice from 25-100 yards. 
  

  There will be a lesson on our Tic Tac Toe method for aiming at this event as well.

  Rifle ANTLERLESS Deer Hunt. Meet at the clubhouse (7138 Lawrence 1196 Ash Grove) at 4:00 pm Friday night. Be dressed in camo and ready to hunt when you arrive. (Text 417-848-9622 for directions). Pick up same location Sunday evening at 11:00 am, but that could change depending on evening kills.
  
  We will be staying in the clubhouse, but you will still need sleeping and pillows. Bring camo and blaze ORANGE for the hunt, clothes to get dirty in, 2 towels, camp chair and toiletries (especially soap and toothbrush).
  
  Rifles will be provided; however, you may bring your own if you also bring ammo and a paper target with 3 shots placed on it from 50 yards (signed by an adult for verification).
  
  MO firearms tags are REQUIRED!!!!!
  
  Hunter orange hat and hunter orange vest or jacket is required, but can be borrowed from us.
