The CTO Northside chapter is a youth hunting and fishing club for boys and young men age 7-20 serving the north Springfield area. We are "Building Men, Preserving our Heritage and Sharing our Faith."  Go with us on real hunting and fishing trips and other exciting outings - including the coolest Summer Camps in the world!

Meet the Northside Chapter Outfitter: Mark Knight

Mark Knight grew up in a Christian home as a preachers kid, where his father started new Christian Churches so he moved about every two years. He graduated from Rogers Arkansas in 1973 where he started working in construction for several years which led to working for the Missouri Department of Transportation, where he retired early in 2010. Mark has been married to Vicki for 10 years and together they have a son, two daughters, seven grandchildren and one great grandson. Mark currently has a small lawn mowing business which provides him the opportunity to pursue his love for the outdoors. Mark met CTO Missouri State Director, Kirk Bouse at his church and began volunteering for CTO in 2015. Then in January of 2018 Mark felt the call to become the new CTO Missouri Northside Chapter leader.

    Boys Youth Deer Season, Firearms, 2018

    Meeting place: Kum & Go, Springfield MO - West Bypass and Battlefield Rd

    Meeting time: Friday evening 4:30 pm  

    Pick up place: Sarcoxie base camp 

    Pick up time: Saturday evening 7:00 pm

    We will be staying at our base camp house in Sarcoxie so we will be comfortable. 

    Items needed: Sleeping bag, pillow, toiletries for showers, hunting clothes, WARM boots, Hunters orange vest or jacket, hunters orange hat, rifle and ammo. CTO can provide rifle and ammo with prior notification. We have plenty. Main meals will be provided but hunting snacks are a good idea. Please inform us of medications your youth will need us to follow up on when you drop them off for the hunt. We do have several hunting clothes available if there is a need. Don't hesitate to ask. Boots are harder to come by.
